Cataloguing a tool does not mean its admin account is connected. OpenAI/Anthropic connections supply API spend/usage; Copilot provides seat activity. The vendor says it reads admin/billing/usage information rather than prompts or source code, but this boundary and security checks were not independently audited. Most proposed changes still require a person to act in the vendor console. Assistant MCP access is private preview, time-limited and revocable; it is not a generally available integration.
